Welcome to Tory Top Chocolate.

My passion for candy goes back decades from when I was a young engineering apprentice with Topps Candy in Europe.

Following my love for chocolate, I moved to San Francisco, where I was fortunate to work with two of the world-famous chocolate producers, Guittard Chocolate Company and Scharffen Berger Chocolate Maker.

After a decade of managing FDA regulated bio pharma manufacturing operations, I was gradually drawn back into the world of chocolate making. With my fascination for bean-to-bar chocolate making, I have found myself visiting artisan chocolate makers from Hawaii, throughout the US, to Mexico, Iceland and Europe learning from some of the world’s finest chocolate makers.

It has been said that making a great chocolate is like producing fine spirits or wine. It is part expertise, part science, art and an absolute love for what we do. I find myself working on new varieties of chocolate all the time, experimenting with beans from both historic and emerging cacao plantations of the equator, applying varying grinding and roasting techniques, bringing the most unique and interesting select cacao flavors to you.

Our vegan plant-based chocolate offers our customers a unique and healthy way of indulgence. Our values of fair-trade cacao harvesting, and climate awareness led us to be one of the first zero waste manufacturing facilities in San Francisco, where everything we touch is consumed or recycled. I am thrilled to announce that we have now completed the relocation of our manufacturing to Cork City, Ireland and opened our first cafe and chocolate factory where we will continue to focus on environmentally sustainable practices. I look forward to meeting you at one of our chocolate making events.
